[Freecol-developers] fcgo serialization and sorting

Hi folks,

I've seen lots of places where child lists (eg. Colony's WorkLocation's)
are sorted before serialization.

Is this really required ?

No and yes. It is not required for FreeCol to function. However, believe
me, if you are debugging the client-server comms and/or savegame
corruption, having a canonical form enforced is a *priceless* time saver.
