[Freecol-developers] Center Action Accelerator

I have one more suggestion:
The default accelerator key for the Center Action should be "C" instead of "control C".
I have seen that it is "C" in the original Colonization,
i think we should conform that. And this Action is used a lot (by me at least).
And "control C" is better for clearForest Action, because a "C" can be easily pressed
accidentaly, but "control C" is not likely to be pressed by accident.
(Clearing Forest Action is much more "critical" than centering, it should be protected
more, with more keys as accelerator)
Result:

Re: Clear being mapped to C, I've often wondered why clear and plow are
differently mapped. In Col1, it's just the P key for both actions.

You're right! It's P for both in Col1.
This would even be a better version in Freecol too.

For the record, I agree that the "P" key by default should be mapped to
both clearing a forest and plowing.

It looks like you have a Revision committed for that change I suggest you
submit either a patch or a pull request for it.

Users can always change it back if they need to.

Hi again,

I am not sure if it is a bug so i ask it here.

When there is a colonist with some speciality in a colony (outside colony)
and on the colony screen you right-click on it and choose "Clear Speciality",
a new window opens after you click:
"At St John's, a Master Carpenter has become a Free Colnist."

Is it an intended behaviour or a bug?

Not sure. Its not wrong, but perhaps its overkill. It is needed more in
other cases, such as when a unit is upgraded on entering the colony.
